EAP’s Corner

While most of us are in our homes, there are those who are risking their lives everyday in our battle against COVID 19. NCIP Region VI Educational Assistance Program Grantee Mike Angelo V. Dolinog of Brgy. Oyang, Libacao, Aklan, now a medical technologist working at St. Gabriel Medical Center is one brave frontliner in the province. Mike is a proud Akeanon Bukidnon and he has a message to his fellow indigenous peoples(IP). May his message inspires not only his fellow IPs but also others to be strong in the midst of this crisis. Stay safe everyone.

Two EAP grantees received cash incentives from NCIP namely Elly Tacaisan of Iloilo City Community College and Mayla Andote of Iloilo Science and Technology, Leon Campus belonging to Panay Bukidnon Ethnic Group in the province of Iloilo graduated as Cum Laude.

Rosana Evangelio, belong to Ati ethnic group of Guimaras (EAP grantee 2018-2019 graduate) received an assistance for review.

The National Commission on Indigenous Peoples Region 6/7 & 8 in partnership with Cherry Mobile conducted the CherySkwela: Be Cool In School on September 18- 20, 2019. There are 1000 Akeanon Bukidnon pupils from 11 IP schools of the Municipality of Madalag, Aklan benefited the project.

Another Akeanon Bukidnon from Oyang, Libacao, Aklan become a Registered Medical Technologist. Congratulations to Mike Angelo Dolinog, EAP grantee for passing the Medical Technologist Board Examinations.
